Ruben van Rompaey New Release :: Shipped April 11!

Eastern Expressions 3: Asahi by Ruben van Rompaey.

The third release from this percussion master, Asahi suprises with melodic instruments and incredible vocals from guest musicians. One of our favorites is track 2 where Ruben says the rhythm, then plays it. Incredible stuff! "Dum ta dum ta dum ta dum ta tekididi da!"

Solace New Release Opium Head Limited Edition :: May 20

We are ecstatic to announce the release of the Opium Head Special Limited Edition 2 CD Set by Solace. Scheduled for a May 20, 2008 release, this full length album includes a bonus disc of music that will only be available with the limited edition Opium Head, and arrives in premium DVD size packaging, complete with exclusive artwork (final version shown here). Only 500 units of this special packaging will be made, hand-numbered and signed by its creator Jeremiah Soto. The gorgeous Rachel Brice graces this albums cover. Opium Head will make its debut at Tribal Fest in Sebastepol, California. You may pick it up at the event by placing "pick up at Tribal Fest" in the special note section of your pre-order. Special Pre-order pricing of $27 (regularly $30) is available until May 1.

More Opium Head News: The single, "Sleeping Sober" is being used in one of the Tribal sections of the Belly Dance Super Stars show. Thanks to RB for sharin' the love!

Bound to Earth: Strange Flesh Volume 2
The follow up to the well recieved Strange Flesh is tentatively scheduled for a May release. Bound to Earth will feature exclusive tracks from Solace, Shiva in Exile, and Christian St. Claire, as well as tracks from Projekt Records Black Tape for a Blue Girl, Khvarena and Rajna. Stay tuned for photos from the upcoming photoshoot with Gothic Bellydance's Enchantress, Ariellah, featuring the clothing of Skin Graft Designs. Its gonna be gorgeous!
